SEND - Special Educational Needs and Disability
As a mainstream school, Sherborne CofE Primary is proudly non-selective. All staff and governors are committed to ensuring that all children, regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, prior attainment or academic ability, deserve an engaging, rewarding and successful learning experience.
High-quality teaching is the best starting point for all pupils, including those who have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). We work to ensure that all staff in the school are able to identify and provide for those pupils who have special educational needs or disabilities so that all pupils are able to access the curriculum and join in all activities in school.
Our staff and governors work hard to make sure that all pupils reach their potential, are fully included within the school community and prepared for life beyond Sherborne at the end of Year 6.
The school SEND policy and provision arrangements can be accessed below. For any questions please talk to your class teacher. Other key people are detailed below, and their contact details can be found via our Administrator Mrs. Pether.
